About Indian Bollywood Crew Movie Full Review
Crew Movie Review: A few years ago, Kingfisher Airlines kept their employees deprived of their salaries for months due to bankruptcy, following which, the owner Vijay Mallya fled the country to live his life away from the media’s prying eyes. Crew movie cast: Kriti Sanon, Kareena Kapoor and Tabu.
#CrewReview: Kareena Kapoor Khan’s latest film, Crew, with Tabu and Kriti Sanon, aims to complete that partly written chapter in Indian Airlines history and finish the story with a somewhat twisted but highly satisfying justice, where everyone who was wronged ends up happy. While that is something we would have loved to see in real life, for now, let’s just make do with a film.

Crew Movie Story Plot
The film revolves around a trio of air hostesses who are pushed into doing jobs they hate to navigate the hardships in their lives. As the narrative unfolds, we see scenarios that have a stark resemblance to the plight of Kingfisher Airlines’ employees. The majority of the film represents the lives of the cabin crew and their colorless days.
However, one day, Kareena, Tabu and Kriti come across a revelation that will eventually change their lives for the better, or so they thought. After a series of fortunate and unfortunate events, our leading trio falls into a greed trap that changes their lives for a while.
Crew Movie Review: Writing
Crew, directed by Rajesh A Krishnan, is a film that can be divided into parts and still be enjoyed by the viewers owing to its nature of non-linear storytelling.
The first half of the film is completely focused on establishing a cold opening that saw our leading trio getting detained by the customs officers for their alleged involvement in a gold smuggling case.
Arguably the first half was somewhat slow in pace due to the need to get the viewers up to date with the ‘present day.’ The second half, however, picks up phenomenally, not only in storytelling but also in the film’s pacing.
Crew Movie 720p: Performances
Tabu was undoubtedly the most watchable among the tree leads, with Kriti taking the second spot. Tabu’s performance as Geeta, the seniormost member of the cabin crew, was just aesthetically catching with her mannerisms, which even a blind person can see, were purely out of her dedication towards the art.
While Kareena’s acting was in no way bad, her character lacked the depth that the other two leads didn’t. Kareena, throughout the film, mostly comes across as a sexualized character with a little more backbone than general eye candies. Kriti on the other hand, was remarkable with her portrayal of a young girl torn between her familial duties and a promise that she made to herself despite the situations that she is forced into.
Indian Movie Crew: Critique
Rajesh A Krishnan has done a commendable job at hitting the right spot that is sure to strike a chord with the audience, especially due to the film’s real-life inspirations cherrypicked from a rather dark phase of the Indian aviation industry.
Music
The reprised version of Ila Arun’s ‘Ghagra’ has enough ingredients to take the nightclubs by storm. ‘Naina’ sung by Diljit Dosanjh and Badshah, makes for another foot-tapping number. The raunchy ‘Choli Ke Peeche’ is a decent recreation.
What’s Yay: Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kriti Sanon, breezy writing for a major portion
What’s Nay: Some convenient tropes that’s dropped in the second half
